How to Solve the Problem of Favicon is not Changing in the Blog

Sometimes, we face the problem of favicon is not changed in our blog we we work on blogger. Favicon is not changed means it is not working. If we trying to solve the problem of favicon is not changed in the blog, these simple steps will help to sort out the problem. 

Sometimes, people face problem and ask that 'why my blog favicon in blogger is not changed?' It means the action of favicon changing is not working.

I hope that you are familier with Favicon. It is a shortcut icon of your website or blogger. This shortcut icon is changed from layout section of blogger by replacing or removing existing image and inserting new one. 

Sometimes, it does not change though you remove old icon and insert new one.This may be because of technical issue in the blog.

You might also have faced the problem. The favicon in your blogger or website has not changed. You might have tried to change many times from the layout section of blogger but getting no result.

To solve the favicon not changing or not working problem in your blogger, you can follow the following 3 simple steps:   

Step 1: 

Copy your blogger address from your blog. For copying the blogger address, you can go view blog section and then click. When your blog opens in new tab and shows the address starting from https:// ..... That is your blog address. You just have to select all address and copy it.

Step 2: 

Open new addressbar or new tab in the browser or press Ctrl+T key to pen new tab. And then past the copied address. 

Step 3: 

When you past the copied address of your blog then ad "/favicon.ico" right after your blogger address. When you finish adding the '/favicon.ico' part in the blog address section then press the enter. Refresh the page once and go back to your blog.

When you do all of these steps, it will work and the favicon changing will come to in effect. Then there will be a favicon showing in your blog. 

May be Changed in other Browsers

Sometimes, the issue is different in different browser. The favicon in your blog is not showing the icon when you use the new tab in the same browser by clicking in 'view blog'. If you change the browser and try to open your blog, sometimes, the favicon is seen in the next browser. 

You can see the example of images taken at the same time in different browser. 

If you are using firefox to work on blog and try to open blog, it may not show sometimes. But if you change the browser different than you use to work on blogger, it might be seen. So, you have to check your blog in different browsers to check whether the favicon is seen or not.
